We will provide you with all the necessary information you will need to make your hunt successful. Here's a list of the information we provide but not limited to:
New Mexico Application Process- We will answer any questions you may have of the NM application process and give you advise on which units to apply for.
Set you up in a productive area- we'll send you Custom TOPO shaded relief maps (example shown below) with detailed directions of how to get to your unit, GPS Coordinates of where to hunt, where to camp, what kind of terrain to expect. GPS coordinates of water sources, bedding areas ECT…
Scouting- I'll personally scout the area for you. We’ve hunted and guided these units for over 25 years and have developed a successful process for finding game.
Game processing and cold storage, Motels - We’ll send you information for area game processors, cold storage, Motels, RV parks ECT…
Taxidermist information – If you need a trophy caped or mounted, we will give you contact information for the area Taxidermist.

Local Knowledge
A little about Tommy, owner/operator of Gila Wilderness Hunting. Just to let you know a little about myself. I've been hunting the great state of New Mexico all my life. I have a wonderful wife and two strong boys. I'm an avid outdoorsman and love being one with nature. In 1999 I decided to expand my opportunities. I wanted to try and hunt a different state. Everyone always talked about hunting Utah for good Mule deer. So a friend and I made plans to hunt Utah. The problem was where do we hunt in Utah? We didn't have the money to hire a guide so we had to put in the draw and go from there. In doing my research I found a guy that would provide all the information needed to hunt the area we drew. He sent me Topo maps, told me where the good camping spots were, what to expect as far as weather, where to hunt. Basically all the information needed to make our hunt as painless as possible. When we headed out we knew exactly where to go and what to expect. We had a great time and saw plenty of animals. On the way home (15 hour drive) I was thinking, "Why can't I run the same kind of service here in New Mexico"? I'm sure that there are plenty of hunters that can use this kind of service. Why pay thousands of dollars for a guide, when with basic information we can do it ourselves. So here it is. Take every advantage of your precious NM Tag.
